Brands that I Love: Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche
I am not the type who can pull off or incorporate loud, bright colored jewelry into my outfits. I'm the type of girl who loves the look of simple, minimalist jewelry that can go with any outfit that you choose to wear. One brand that I think fits my taste perfectly is Jacquie Aiche. Of course I don't own any of their jewelry (too expensive for my wallet), but I hope that one day I'll be able to save up the money and purchase one of these gorgeous items! Although I think that will be a while away, it definitely does not stop me from lusting after these items. I'm also more partial to gold jewelry (as you can see from my choices above), although I do like silver once in a while, gold just seems to be able to have a bronzing affect on my skin tone.
Also, today is Chinese New Year's! So happy new years to all my fellow asians out there! I hope you had a great time eating yummy food and spending time with family.
If you're interested in buying any of these items, I have provided links below. I hope you have a wonderful week!

1. CZ Earrings
2. Herkimer Crystal Prong Studs
3. Cluster Trinity Necklace
4. Diamond Waif Small Bezel Ring
5.Pave Pyramid Double Bezel Ring
6. Pave Leaf Cuff

Documentaries

Documentaries

For some peculiar reason, I've recently been drawn towards the idea of watching documentaries. When I first started researching documentaries, I focused mainly on the History Channel documentaries, only because they're the only types I've watched before. However, after looking around at some of my favorite blogs, I've found some documentaries that I'm interested in and actually has nothing to do with history
I haven't watched any of them yet, but as I go through them, I'll write my thoughts about the documentaries and share it with all you guys! So if you're interested in documentaries as well, please comment below about which ones you're interested in and ones that you've seen that aren't listed below.

1. Born Rich (2003): This documentary is about how ten children of the richest people in the world grow up. Some of the children include Ivanka Trump, Josiah Hornblower, and Georgianna Bloomberg. I think this documentary will be really interesting to learn how their lifestyle is compared to my own and if they'll really be like the stereotypical rich person.

2. Girl Model (2011)This documentary is about a 13 year old girl from Siberia who is recruited to go to Japan to be a model and shows the harsh reality of the modeling industry. This documentary appeals to me because I've always been really interested in the fashion industry, more specifically, the business side of it. So here's the trailer of this specific documentary:

3. Happy (2011): This documentary is about how different people from different places define happiness. I myself define happiness as being with people that I love or traveling somewhere new and trying new things. I'm saving this documentary for a day that I feel really down on and hopefully it'll be able to cheer me up.

4. Life in a Day (2011): The documentary that I am looking forward to the most is this one. It's a compilation of films made by different filmmakers from around the world created to be a sort of time capsule for future generations to see how was to live in 2011. Personally, that idea really appeals to me and I would love to have my children watch this when they're teenagers.

Well, I hope you guys are interested in these documentaries and if you've seen any of these before or watch it now, please leave a comment below to tell me what you thought about them! Also, if you have any other documentaries that you liked, please comment and tell me them!
Have a wonderful week!

Deborah Lippmann: Naked

Alright, so this will be my first nail polish post! I've been going job hunting recently so I decided to go for the more professional look with the nude nails. Deborah Lippmann's Naked is by far my favorite nude nail polish, it goes perfectly with my skin color. I've had to try multiple nude nail polishes before I was able to find this one. Normally Deborah Lippmann full size nail polishes retail for around 18 dollars and I was able to find this one at TJ Maxx for only 5 dollars. You know you're obsessed with nail polish when you find a designer nail polish that's 75% off of retail price and you have to buy it.
So without further ado, here is my first nail polish picture:

These are the products I used:

Seche Vite Top Coat

If any of you guys love nail polish but hate waiting for it to dry, then the first thing you should invest in is Seche Vite. No joke, this top coat dries and makes your nails feel amazingly smooth and shiny. One thing that many people who used Seche Vite complain about is the smell and how thick it becomes after a while. After using around 4 bottles of this top coat, I've realized that the only reason why it becomes thick is if you shake it a lot and don't screw on the top tight enough. Though it is a bit pricey, I really do believe that it is worth the money.
If you have any questions about the nail polish I used, please feel free to comment below and ask!

Let's see how this goes...

It's been about 6 months since my desire to create a blog began. Being an avid reader of multiple blogs has made me interested in sharing my interests and reviews of a variety of things to whoever wishes to read them. Hopefully over time my writing, reviews, and blog will improve and can be something that I contribute to frequently. My blog will not be classified under a single topic, just because I would eventually become bored with writing about just one topic. So as of today, my blog will cover a range of topics: fashion, nail polish, books, documentaries, movies, recipes, places I want to visit, and random thoughts that cross my mind. And that is all, so here's a picture of my cute dog to end the post because I do not know how to end it any other way.

Hope you guys have a great week!
